Cary Medical Center has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Pharmacy.  The successful candidate will provide leadership to a dynamic pharmacy team.  Responsibilities include ensuring that policies and procedures are created/updated, maintaining long range plan coverage for pharmacy services, maintaining high standards of care and adequate staffing, developing annual operating and capital budgets, analyzing new medications in response to department needs or  physician requests, and participating in the organizational Quality Management Program.  Director of Pharmacy is also expected to provide some limited Pharmacist coverage for the department.

This position requires a State of Maine Pharmacist license; hospital-based, pharmacy leadership experience is preferred.  The Director of Pharmacy reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
