The field of urology focuses on conditions affecting the urinary tract system of males and females, as well as the male reproductive system.  Physicians who specialize in urology, called urologists, are specially trained to diagnose and treat conditions such as incontinence, urinary infections, kidney stones, cancers of the urinary or male reproductive organs, and male infertility.  Urologists apply surgical and non-surgical techniques to treat injuries or disorders of organs including kidneys, prostate, bladder, penis, and urethra.
