This is primarily a day shift possition.

The 23-bed Acute Care Unit (medical/surgical/telemetry unit), cases are similar to SCU and can also include COPD, CHF, and MI patients with a patient ratio of 1:4-5, and an average census of 21 to 23 inpatients about eighty percent of the time. Equipment includes glucometer, central lines, oximeters, Omnicell (automatic medication dispensing unit), and a computerized documentation system.
