Public Relations- Program Coordinator 16 hrs/wk
The Program Coordinator will coordinate the Siruno Stroke Prevention Program. The individual will work with the Healthy You Program to establish the Diabetes Prevention Program in all six communities. The individual will work with the University of Maine at Fort Kent nursing program to establish a hypertension screening program. The worker will establish healthy cooking classes in the six communities working with the Aroostook County Action Program. They will also work in all six communities to develop physical fitness programs – Walking Club, exercise classes, etc.
Educational and Skills Requirements:
- Experience with program coordinator
- Experience in researching, writing and managing grants
- Exception communication skills
- General Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong writing ability
- Positive Role Model
- Team Player
- Strong Networking Skills
- Good Organization Skills
- Able to meet deadlines
