| It's Time for Annual Flu Shots |
|
Thank you for visiting Cary Medical Center's web site. We are pleased to provide the schedule for our upcoming flu shot clinics. Getting vaccinated against the flu and now the H1N1 Virus is your best protection against these serious health problems. Millions of people die from the flu every year in the United States. The very young and elderly are most vulnerable along with pregnant women and those with chronic illness. The Maine Centers for Disease Control urges everyone to get vaccinated. This year the flu shot contains both the seasonal flu vaccine and the vaccine for the H1N1 virus. Just one shot is required. Click here to learn more about the flu shot, seasonal flu and H1N1. Cary Medical Center is your source of wellness and we want you to have a safe and healthy winter season. For many years Cary has offered free flu shot clinics to members of the public throughout our service area. Our first flu shot clinic will be held on Saturday, October 23rd at Caribou High School from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. This is the day of our 30th Annual Health Fair. The Caribou High School location provides convenient parking and plenty of room for everyone. We hope you will have the opportunity to join us for the health fair. But if you miss this event and still want a flu shot you can attend one of several free clinics we will be offering. 2010 SEASONAL/H1N1 FLU SHOT CLINICSCary Medical Center 30th Annual Health Fair Washburn Civic Center Saint John Valley Health Center, Van Buren Fort Fairfield Middle/High School Cafeteria New Sweden Elementary School Caswell Elementary School Cary Medical Center Chan Center Please bring your Medicare Card if you participate in the Medicare Program.
