Cary Medical Center's Cardiopulmonary Services Department combines two specialized areas of healthcare, the heart (cardiac) and the lungs (pulmonary). Certified and registered therapists diagnose and treat a variety heart and lung disorders for patients in the hospital and on an outpatient basis. Our cardiopulmonary team is specially trained to care for patients with conditions such as asthma, irregular heart rhythms, pneumonia, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and coronary artery disease. These medical professionals provide personalized, gentle care while using the latest medical technologies to help patients establish or return to maximum heart and lung functions or manage chronic illness. Hours of Service Cary Medical Center's Cardiopulmonary Services Department is open seven days a week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Respiratory therapists are on-call 12 hours every day from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM for emergency and hospitalized patients.
