At Cary Medical Center, we offer a full range of surgical services to diagnose and treat a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. Our experienced surgical team includes four surgeons, two anesthesiologists, four Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), two certified surgical technicians, and several registered nurses, four of our whom are members of the critical care transport team. Our surgical team uses the latest medical technology to ensure every patient receives safe, high quality services, while providing personalized patient and family-focused care. Hours of Service Scheduled surgeries are performed at Cary Medical Center Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Surgical staff are on-call 24-hours every day for emergency surgeries. Services provided At Cary Medical Center, we have five surgical rooms and one endoscopy room in which we provide orthopedic, urology, obstetrics/gynecology, eye, ear, nose, throat, vascular, and general surgical services. Our surgical services team has the expertise to care for patients throughout their entire surgical experience from pre-operative assessment and education to monitoring and follow-up care after surgery. Our surgical team, with complete support from other hospital services, provides comprehensive, compassionate care at every step of the way. Location Surgical services are provided in our one day surgery center and our surgical suite, both of which are located on the main floor at Cary Medical Center. Please note that access to these areas is restricted to surgical patients and staff. Family, friends, and those accompanying patients having surgery are welcome to wait in designated areas near the surgical center. There is convenient outside access to the registration desk and main waiting area for the one day surgery center just past the hospital's emergency entrance.
