Since 1990, Junior Achievement of Maine’s Business Hall of Fame has honored the state’s most distinguished businessmen and women for their outstanding contributions to free enterprise and the promise of a better, stronger society. We congratulate our very own, Kris Doody, RN, MSB, FACHE, CEO of Cary Medical Center and Pines Health Services on being inducted into the Junior Achievement Maine Business Hall of Fame!
Kris joined Cary Medical Center as a certified nurse’s aide at the young age of 15. In 1995 she was named Chief Operating Officer before taking on the CEO role in 1999. She has been regionally and nationally recognized for her leadership skills; most recently including being named one of the Nation’s 60 Top Rural Hospital CEOs by Becker’s Hospital Review, American Hospital Association Trustee of the year and Quorum Health Resources CEO of the Year.
At the fourth annual event in the North, Kris, along with Sam Collins, President of S.W. Collins Company were welcomed as laureates into the Junior Achievement Maine Business Hall of Fame at an induction ceremony that took place on November 7th, 2019 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bangor, ME.
