CNA – 18 hrs/wk – Oncology

The Cancer Center Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) functions as a clinical support partner to assist the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CNA is responsible for providing nursing assistance care for infusion suite patients in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner. The CNA will provide routine direct patient care within specific unit policies and procedures, report pertinent information to the RN and respond to patient care needs.
License/Educational/Experience/Skill Requirements:
License Requirements:
- Maintains current Nursing Assistant Certification for the State of Maine.
Educational, Skills, Experience Requirements:
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Meet the Center’s annual competency training requirements within scope of practice.
