For Our Vendors
The Materials Management Department has established special guidelines for vendors doing business at Cary Medical Center. These guidelines are helpful in making the most efficient use of both the vendors’ and hospital personnel’s time. In addition, Cary Medical Center has a keen interest in protecting the safety and security of all patients, visitors, and staff. For this reason, we require that those coming to the hospital to conduct business have a photo identification badge.
If you are a vendor representing a company and are new to Cary Medical Center, please contact our Director of Support Services, Micah Desmond at 498-1167 or email@example.com. Micah will acquaint you with all of the specific guidelines, will gather some basic information on you and your company, and arrange for you to get a Cary Medical Center photo identification badge. When you arrive at the hospital for a vendor visit, please stop at our switchboard and ask for directions to our Purchasing Department. A member of our Purchasing Department or Volunteer Services team can escort you to the department if you are unfamiliar with our facility.
If you need to schedule a business appointment with any member of the hospital staff, we ask that you please call Micah Desmond to coordinate the meeting. We want to ensure that our staff and our vendors have a mutually beneficial purchasing process.
