Environmental Services Tech – 24 hrs/wk & 40 hrs/wk- Housekeeping

We are currently recruiting for Environmental Services Technicians to join our Housekeeping Department team. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Cary Medical Center’s vision and mission by modeling the values and culture of the organization. Providing exceptional patient and customer care is part of our goal to keep our community healthy. Cary also has two anticipated openings for this position.
Qualified candidates for this position will be responsible to keep our hospital clean and safe for our patients, public, and employees. The position is responsible for the cleaning of various hospital areas and offices which includes, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, high dusting, and sanitizing of various surfaces and equipment.
License/Educational/Experience/Skill Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
2. Ability to work unsupervised and relate professionally with other hospital staff.
3. Ability to read and write at least at the eighth-grade level.
